VOLUNTEER WORK PARTY, SATURDAY 3 JANUARY 2026
Happy New Year!
I hope you all had a good Christmas and are looking forward to the next Castle work party on Saturday 3rd January. 10am start as usual, and we'll be focussing on the paths again, with the option of tackling brambles in the Orchard as an alternative activity!
Meet us at the Castle Orchard (see this map) at 10 am.
Bring your snacks/sandwiches.
I look forward to seeing as many of you as can make it. All welcome. No previous experience necessary.
Regards
Lorna

NOTE:-
Our volunteer work parties take place on the first Saturday of each month, and have a usual start time of 10 am.
Tasks vary from month to month, but can include items such as path improvement, moderate digging, and gravelling/re-gravelling.
Sometimes, rotting fence posts have to be identified and replaced, and, at other times, we get involved with pond weed removal. These are merely examples of the many different jobs that we do around the Castle grounds.
We have a tea break during the morning. I always look forward to seeing all those who manage along to help us, either with practical assistance, or even just moral support (the latter especially when the breeze freshens and the drizzle arrives).
Bring your snacks. Everyone is welcome to join us. No prior experience is necessary. Just turn up on the day - or, for further information, feel free to contact me (details below). We would really appreciate your help.
We meet at the Castle Orchard (see this map) at 10 am.
With best wishes,
Lorna
